A CRNA must be able to work with patients in order to assess, diagnose, manage, evaluate and educate them on how to deal with their health issues. As a Nurse Anesthetist, you’ll have the ability to blend together the science of pharmacology and physiology in the care of your patients. Nurse Anesthesia AdmissionsStudents seeking admission into the Master of Science in Nursing Nurse AnesthesiaProgram must meet the admission requirements of both the Graduate School and the UTCSchool of Nursing MSN Nurse Anesthesia Program. The application deadline for the program is August 1st for entry in the following summer term.Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a program accreditedby the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education,a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, at least two years of critical care experiencewithin the last five years and documentation of all items requested as part of theapplication, including official GRE or Mailler Analogy Test (MAT) scores. GRE scoresare preferred. Applicants are not required to submit GRE or MAT scores and must instead provideproof that they have a Master’s of Science in Nursing from a program accredited bythe National League for Nursing and regionally accredited university or the Commissionon Collegiate Nursing Education.Application Process. To apply, applicants must apply to the Graduate School online.
